Graduate Teaching Assistant
Starting August 2021, I became a Graduate Teaching Assistant for BIO181 - Introductory Biology: Ecology, Evolution, and Biodiversity, BIO183 - Introductory Biology: Cellular and Molecular Biology, along with MBA585 - Current Topics in Biosciences Management. I deliver weekly lectures and guided laboratory work, along with contributing to the implementation of course materials to achieve learning goals. In addition, I am effectively leading discussion, supervising practical laboratory work, and communicating with students.


Charles River Laboratories
Research Technician
After graduating in 2020, I worked as a Research Technician at Charles River Laboratories in Morrisville, NC. I performed routine research activities as assigned, including in vivo and in vitro oncology-based drug discovery. I reviewed protocols and study reports, giving feedback on the accuracy to ensure proper study execution. Furthermore, I performed drug preparation, verification of dosing solutions and dosing of mice and rat animal models for study administration.

Research Assistant
In 2019, I participated in a turtle research blood study with the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine Turtle Rescue Team. During the study, we compared various PCV, total solids, lactate, and glucose values with survival rates in injured turtles. My responsibilities within the study included collecting blood samples, calculating these values, and recording survival.

Shelter Medicine Intern
During my undergraduate career, I was a VetPAC Shelter Medicine Intern at the Wake County Animal Center in Raleigh, NC. As an intern, I worked with various teams including kennel, intake, and surgery. I gained a comprehensive understanding of how shelter medicine works, along with practical animal experience.
