After graduating in 2020 with my B.S. in Animal Science, I worked as a Research Technician at Charles River Laboratories in Morrisville, NC. I performed routine research activities as assigned, including in vivo and in vitro oncology-based drug discovery. During my time in the Master of Microbial Biotechnology (MMB) program, I had the opportunity to work on semester-long practicum projects with a variety of biotechnology companies including: Thermo Fisher Scientific, inSomaBio, and Alura. As a Business Development Intern at EydisBio, I drafted multiple NIH SBIR Phase II commercialization plans. As a Genetic Toxicology Project Manager at Inotiv, I manage clients who contract our services to test their pipeline pharmaceuticals for genetic toxicity prior to FDA Investigational New Drug (IND) submission.
