Capstone - InClü: Inclusivity You Can Feel!
Working with my capstone team, we conducted primary and secondary research in order to develop a business model canvas based on our capstone idea, a tactile pregnancy test. InClü's pregnancy test features a user-centric design, with braille instructions, raised QR code, and tactile results that will empower all fertile women to manage their reproductive health with confidence and privacy through ensuring reliable and accurate results. Our final deliverables included a presentation and paper.
Alura - Evaluation of the Canine Food, Treat, and Supplement Market
Working with Alura and our mentors, Paula Barngrover and Maria Spindola, we were tasked with assessing the canine food, treat, and supplement market in order to determine which market would be ideal for Alura to initially establish themselves in. This projects deliverables culminated in a final presentation and executive summary.

Working with the Business and Medicine (BaM) program and Thomas Theis, PhD at NC State University, our team performed a molecular imaging technology mini-market analysis, identified a competitor landscape, and conducted key opinion leader outreach. Office of Research Commercialization - Protein Bioconjugation
Working with the Office of Research Commercialization (ORC) and Jun Ohata at NC State University, our team identified different applications for bioconjugation methods. Furthermore, we determined what market would benefit most from this novel ionic liquid medium. This projects deliverables included a presentation and executive summary.
Thermo Fisher Scientific - Analysis of the OSD Competitive Landscape
Working with Thermo Fisher, our team was tasked with analyzing a set of competitors, creating a competitive profile outlining key attributes, and performing a competitive strengths assessment of Thermo Fisher. This projects deliverables included a presentation and final report.
Comparative Medicine Institute - Antivirals: Actions Against Pandemics
Working with the Comparative Medicine Institute (CMI) at NC State University, our team identified inhibitors of SARS-CoV-2, determined gaps in IP rights, and created a team of CMI members. This project culminated with a presentation of our findings and preparation of an executive summary.

Continuous Metabolic Monitoring Device
During Industry Case Studies, I completed a literature review on my capstone idea, a continuous metabolic monitoring device for diabetic ketoacidosis patients. The literature review aimed to define ketoacidosis, recognize current monitoring and management strategies, determine the current challenges faced, identify a possible solution, and discuss what the future looks like for diabetic ketoacidosis patients in regards to current gaps in research and unmet needs.

During Industry Case Studies, I completed a literature review on a novel companion animal diagnostic method for the diagnosis of inflammatory conditions and food sensitivities. The goal of this paper was to describe the unmet need, discuss the market landscape, describe the present invention including its applications and advantages, along with identifying and detailing the specific biomarkers utilized.
